Out of care for the youngest patients

It is safe to say that this specialty requires a great deal of responsibility, empathy, and accuracy in establishing a diagnosis and monitoring treatment, as young patients often cannot explain the symptoms they are feeling. At Optim Sano, you will find special dedication and a gentle smile in our interactions with your children during the diagnosis and treatment of conditions.

Experience and Professionalism

The experience gained both nationally and internationally certifies the superior quality of the services and the success of the treatments.

Attentive Communication

We build effective communication with our patients by truly understanding and treating their health issues.

Integrated Services

At Optim Sano, you benefit from a full range of integrated Pediatric services.

Complex Investigations

At the Optim Sano clinic, a wide range of pediatric investigations are performed.

When to visit the pediatrician

A visit to the pediatrician should not happen only when the child is sick. Visiting the pediatrician is a routine matter during the child’s healthy growth, covering physical and emotional development, monitoring and awareness of occurring changes, and the parent’s desire to understand and know as much as possible about the little one. Consequently, we recommend that mothers seek emergency pediatric care at the first signs of a change in the baby’s condition, such as cough, fever, or any other symptom.

Intestinal Microbiome (Dysbiosis) Consultation for Adults and Children

At Optim Sano, we also offer consultations for pathologies associated with the intestinal microbiome, as well as guidance for maintaining a healthy microbiome.

The statement that “all diseases begin in the gut,” attributed to Hippocrates, is supported by modern studies that link an imbalanced microbiome and increased intestinal permeability to chronic, inflammatory, and autoimmune conditions. A healthy gut relies on an intact intestinal membrane and a balanced microbiome.

The microbiome consists of 100 trillion microorganisms that inhabit the digestive tract. In a healthy gut, over 1,000 different species of bacteria reside, playing an important role in maintaining pH levels, vitamin synthesis, fiber digestion, and the synthesis of short-chain fatty acids (Butyrate, Propionate, Acetate), as well as immune system modulation and the gut-brain axis, which influences mood.

Dysbiosis represents an imbalance in the ratio between “good” and “bad” bacteria, both quantitatively and qualitatively, resulting in immunological, nutritional, and metabolic consequences for the entire body.

Dysbiosis is associated with digestive system conditions, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), constipation, inflammatory bowel diseases, depression, anxiety, autoimmune diseases, allergic diseases, joint pain, thyroiditis, and chronic fatigue.

Symptoms of dysbiosis include:

  • Recurrent abdominal pain

  • Diarrhea or constipation

  • Bloating

  • Skin rashes

  • Chronic fatigue

  • Anxiety

  • Nutritional deficiencies

  • Obesity

If you experience these symptoms, please contact the Optim Sano Clinic to receive the necessary recommendations for maintaining a healthy microbiome.
